Ok this is a housekeeping post for our listeners and anyone else that’s wondering…

First up you might have been having trouble connecting to the homepage. You might be getting time outs and weird error messages regarding the database. The reason for this is that the whole of TPN is currently experiencing a Denial of Service attack (DoS). There is not much that we can do about it but ride it out. The tech guys are working at strategies to combat it, but it is a bit like a shaving cut… just when you thought you had it beat…

Second our feed this week had some issues as well. There was no enclosure associated with the post. That means that you would not have seen the enclosure in your RSS reader and it would not have shown up in iTunes. This has been rectified and you should now be able to get the show. However, due to the DoS attack you might get timeouts from iTunes when it checks the feed. Just wait a while and then try again. It eventually worked for me. Failing that it is streaming okay and you can download it directly from the post. Not ideal but it is another way of getting the show.

We are not sure what caused the feed error but it might be related to the attack and the database. This is a new development as of yesterday and we are working on it.

Out of all this I would ask that you are patient and bear with us as we weather the storm. Sorry for the inconvenience and problems keeping in touch with us. We appreciate the support and would like to know that people are getting this weeks show okay so drop us a comment. Be a shame for people to miss out because it was a ripper!
