Hollywood Computing
As geeks you know the feeling when you are watching a movie and you see either applications on computers or things that happen related to computers. Most if not all that happens or that you see has any reflection in reality. Beats me why this is because the end result looks ridiculous!
Found this today that made me laugh, it is a a guide to reproducing those great computer effects that Hollywood excels at. Basically if you are producing an indie movie then your going to want that Hollywood style, this document will help you get those everything right. All the way down to the “letter” looking emails.
On the show front. With the Skype problem late last week and the fact that Tim has Skype issues. Not sure what they are he has not told me, although I think it has something to do with audio. I have decided to can this weeks show. Don’t worry it pains me more than you, there is about 4 or 5 hours pre-production work for each show. Sorry.
The other thing is that I was holding out till this morning to get a fill in co-host and I gave up because when I pushed most people said “I’d be up for it… BUT”. So all “buts” out the window. I give up.

Ha, ha… this is pretty good. Kind of like the whole gun thing where the good guys have like 9000 round clips and never have to reload. One of the really funny “computer” movie that’s so off base is the movie “Hackers.” It’s so far from any basis in reality that you just have to laugh.

rofl that’s good. I discovered another one while I was watching Die Hard 4 (speaking of good guys with 9000 bullets in a clip) this week: all l337 hax0rs, when their monitor displays electrical interference, apparently think pressing the DEL key will fix it.

Dont get me started on some of the crap thats on CSI. Makes good television Ill give it that. Scientifically, well some of its just crap. Like every bullet looks like a 9mm even if fired from a rifle.
