Need Help with the Command Line Interface? Why Not Cheat?
Some of you out there, not a lot but some are command line junkies. You guys make the rest of us look stoopid. Yes the rest of us could do with some help now and again. Us GUI people are just not used to talking to our computers in the same way. It can be quite an ask to get the help you need in a simple format that is easy to use. Help is at hand.
There are a number of cheat sheets and helps out there for lots of different topics and this one is called the Unix/Linux Command Cheat Sheet from FOSSwire. It is a .pdf that you can download, print and sneek a peek at when no one is looking so that you look good. I have only linked to the page not the .pdf - never fear, I don’t think I would ever do that…
Saved, we are saved I tell you! OK it might not make you an expert but it just might get you out of a jam.
If you are looking for a cheatsheet on some other topic then I would look no further than Cheetsheets: this is a truly amazing list of resources that normally lay scattered around the web, all in one place. Another one is Tech Cheat Sheets dot com, some great resources there as well, but a few dud links among the good stuff. But it is all pretty Web 2.0 looking. Sometimes it has nothing to do with looks though.
Hope that helps everyone become an expert, or at least feel like they are.
Dave
