Welcome Hugh, tarts are welcome - even podcast ones...

We in this case are happy to be bribed, listen out on the next show - that would be number 58 as I just put the latest show up this morning!

Glad you enjoyed the show!

Hey Rich, great to hear from you. Yeah I agree the Apple segment is a nice addition to the show and yup the quality was top notch. Keith will be glad for the feedback.

BTW why don't you just set Skype to not start at start-up? That's what I do and it works.

I agree I think Facebook has something in store for that one, don't think we will know for a while though. Web OS's are in their infancy.

Hi guys, thanks for another great show.
The Apple news segment was pretty impressive - top audio quality as well i thought.
If, like me, you hate programs that auto-run every time you boot your machine I would recommend WinPatrol (free) from BillPStudios, it easily allows you control over just about everything without delving into the registry. The only thing it has been unable to tame so far is Skype!
As Google are going to be tied up bidding for the 700Mhz Band in the US for a while, don't you think Facebook + Parakey could be the new Web OS ???
laters

Dave you can always go work in the fields around there. Gotta be some great farmwork such as fencing going. Even better just like in the castle you could dig a hole.
Perfect changeover from being a nurse.

Did anyone see the crimson/onyx DS on futureshop last week? SO HOT! Speaking of divx. They're working on an appliance/set top box. I've been meaning to checkout jing. Like the labrat idea. Maybe KW can do a mobile 30 second piece as well? Probably not. Oh well. Another great show guys. How's the unemployment going? Sounds terrifying. Oh stats, I hit the blog from Safari and Firefox on 2 macs and Opera and the webkit browser on symbian. Tried to take a screenshot of m.chow on the N80 but I had no search results for tofu! haha.
