Flickr for Facebook
Those Global Geekers that are on Facebook will appreciate this one. As many would realize there are heaps of applications available as “plug-ins” for your profile. They provide access to resources such as photo editing and video uploading as well as some of your social networks such as twitter and now we see Flickr integration.
There has been two other applications in Facebook for Flickr. Having tried this latest offering I think it is the best. It is called Flickr Photos. The application is not made by Flickr but rather a chap by the name of Dustin Mierau.

He has done a stellar job at it as well. This app is a lot easier to configure than previous offerings for Flickr in the apps department. Simply add the app and log into Flickr. Make sure you allow access. The app will now load on your page for the Flickr app in Facebook. You are then able to choose from all your photos ones that you want to share. These are added to your mini feed with a thumb of the photo. Visitors can click to get a larger view or they can visit your Flickr page.
Another great feature is that others in your friends list that are using the app are listed on your Flickr App page. You can see their collections from inside of Facebook as well, nice touch.
One thing I liked a lot is the addition of a standard 6 thumbnail Flickr stream in the left column by default. Similar to what you see on blogs. Looks good; I think and very, very easy. That is the best part of this app, it is easy and simplistic yet has the feature set that is useful and what you want. Love stuff like that.
Now all I need is to see how the friends function works. I think I am the first to add it! Check out the new Flickr application for Facebook. See it in action on my page. Note that you need a Facebook account to view these pages.
