<description>I've listened as well, perhaps i've listened a bit TOO hard to Dr E tho'...
the words "head" "cat" "body" just kept on swimming around my empty skull...
Now I know why, call it my "mad l33t sk1lls" or call me "Sherlock",
but I can now reveal the real Dr E to the world at large - he thought masquerading as an uber-cool scandinavain dj would put me off the scent, - No Chance Dr E, u is Busted!

<description>Ok now some comments on the show -

Roboform was good when i was a Windows user but iirc it was bundled with Malware and kept getting pop-ups all the time. This is a long time ago now though and maybe it was because I had a free version.

For Mac users I recommend 1Passwd from http://1Passwd.com It has all the security you can ask for also allows encrypted noted to be made and will also generate passwords for you. Visit http://screencastsonline.com/sco/info/scoarchive.html Episode 78 for a detailed run through of how good this app is. I also suggest watching all the other videos as well if your a Mac user as there is some great Apps on show their and Don is a great presenter, even if he is a Pom.

You used McAffee? For shame on you Dave. That's almost as bad as saying you used Norton Anti-Bloatvirus. Avast is very good and I could also suggest Kaspersky.

RocketDock? Why did you build a PC, you obviously want a Mac and this would have been the perfect time to get one.

Firewalls? Ok maybe I am naive but is a softwall firewall really necessary if you have a half decent router that has a hardware firewire built in. My understanding is hardware firewall will not let anything in unless you have specifically given it permission by generating an out-going request for information. If the router isn't allowing stuff in then what is the use of a software firewall apart from redundancy. if you use common sense with e-mail, and I assume you do Dave, by not opening attachments and other bad things it seems pointless. I am happy to be corrected though.

Last thought, what's wrong with Windows bashing? At least I have used Windows and feel I have earned the right to bash it. I only started using a Mac 2 years ago and don't intend to go back. i will install Windows on my intel mac when I get it but that will mostly be for games only. I see no other benefits of Windows over a Mac except maybe customisation of the hardware and unless your a power gamer a standard rig is fine for a majority of people.

Hmm that's all for now maybe I will think of something else later

<description>Rich, thanks dude. GButts is pretty good. The fact that you can choose what you want it to list is great. One other tip is that you can put it anywhere using the customize feature of Firefox. I actually have mine on the far right of the bookmarks toolbar - takes up bugger all room there and if you have "dropdown" menu type selected then it takes even less.

Are there comments from anyone that has actually listened to the show :(</description>
