Well I am back the PC is up and running and doing great. I have been spending the last few days tweaking everything and loading software. Not that much time to blog anything. The boys have been terrific at keeping the site together. More on this weeks show, yup we are doing another special edition! Keep an eye out for that.

Now, with all this Lego madness on the blog I could not help myself, I just had to jump in and add my bit. I never had much Lego as a kid, my brother had it all. Well it seemed to end up with him at any rate. The result of that is that I have bugger all (read none) to make my own stuff or to play with as an adult. (Note to self: buy the boys Lego for their Birthdays and Christmas) Anyone else find themselves in the same boat? Well I have found for you one great solution.

I have found a web site that allows you to create your own Lego character, it does a pretty good job. Reasonably Cleaver claims they have been wasting your workday since 1995, still this is new to me. Enter “The Mini-Mizer“. Based on the Lego premise it gives you all the tools to create a Lego character, Web 2.0 style. The picture shown is something I whipped up in about 2 minutes.

There are heaps of options to choose from and I am sure that you guys will be able to do a better job. Choose from different colored arms, legs, torso’s, hair and even hands. Select different outfits, hats and accessories. Yes the obligatory light saber is there as well. Super hero, villain or straight up normal dude or chic your choice. There is also a “kid safe” version as well (no boobs or Doctors and nurses themes in that one).

But wait there is more… Don’t want to create a whole body? Then just create a head! You can do this with Block Head Iconizer. I will let you discover that one yourself… I am thinking avatar.
They also have their own serial “Lego Comic” called “Brick House“. Kudos to them it is also available as an RSS feed! Although ours is but young, Brick House is up to episode 145 “The Waiting Game”. Check out the archives for all the previous editions.

So I hope that this satisfies all the listeners that have been craving that Lego fix since Lego madness took over the GGP. Time waster at the very least.
