Audio Comments
As listeners from the last show would know Odeo has let us down in a big way. I might have found an alternative. So before I have to use it when it counts I thought we might give it a try here. The service is MyChingo they offer a range of services but their main game is voice messaging.
There is a pay service and a free service… we have gone for the free service as it offers a maximum of 2 minutes record time and I think that is all we are going to need. So what we need you guys to do is leave us a few messages so that we can see what the audio is like and how well the service performs.
Thanks to Cam Reilly of G’day World for the idea. I had heard of MyChingo before but not checked it out. Cam has just enabled audio comments on the actual blog comments. Very cool. This was the motivation for having a look at it. I think it is a great service and I hope that we have a solution to the unreliable Odeo, which I might add is still not fixed!
Click the MyChingo Leave a message Button to leave us an audio comment!
I am also going to see what I can do about enabling the audio comments here on the geek or having a player in the sidebar, something. Not sure what yet, I am still looking at the service and how I can tweak it. Maybe even an RSS feed for the audio comments, what do you think? Have fun and go nuts we need to give this thing a workout.

Hey Dude,
You need to get Cam/IT Guys to add the PodPress (http://www.mightyseek.com/podpress) Plugin to your WordPress install. Michael (of MyChingo) is coming out with the next version of his system, Mobatalk that seems like its going to be pretty cool. Check it out at http://www.mobatalk.com.
