The Wonderful Wankometer
I struggled to find another name for this post but none were good enough for a web site that calls itself a Wankometer. You know that spin that some people put on things and your not sure if it is crap or not, unless you are very cleaver. There are masters at this and they fox the best people. The worst of which are Management! The Wonderful Wankometer enables you to sort the wheat from the chaff and test for the wank factor.
Yes the wank factor is everywhere! This web based tool is one way to discover the wank factor of a web site. Described as:
“This machine enables you to measure the quantity of Management Wank in a piece of text or web page… he Wankometer will return a Wank Factor which indicates the overall wankiness of the text.”
So I set out to test it. I have to tell you that I had some trouble finding something that was a true wank. So I must be discerning about what I read or something. But I saw my duty to the show and listeners and felt obligated to test our boss here on TPN: The Cam. So I ran G’day World through the Wankometer…
Wank factor of 0.69 - This level is classified as low.
Not to be bastards I put us through the test as well… The Global Geek Podcast…
Wank factor of 0.90 - This level is classified as low. (Phew…)
No wankers here.
OK, so you get the idea, now the challenge to get out there and find the site with the biggest wank factor, cause I am having trouble. I don’t care if it is a management site or what it is I want to see something that scores a 10! Plus it is fun. Post your results here!

I think this works on a similar principle to meeting bingo, or Dilbert. You can mesh your synergy, but don’t ping my cheese with your bandwidth.

But this has to take the cake and of course as we could expect the source is Microsoft… No comment.
