Java Art : Time Waster
I was surfing around today and found this cool site, an interesting demonstration of what you can do with Java and a time waster.
Called Grappa - Delayed Trace, the page loads and you think that it is nothing. But there is a black strip running across the page. Run your mouse through it and it draws some very funky patterns. The patterns are probably based on a heap of algorithms that I am not going to pretend that I understand. It is just cool.
The “GGP” screenshot that you see took about 3 takes to get right. Pretty cool. Plus a nice demonstration of Java Script.
