How Web 2.0 Aware are You?
This is cool. I found this via Micro Persuasion. The site is called "How Web 2.0-aware Are You?". It is a little freaky though as it uses a method by which it "tests" how many sites out of a list that the site deems "very Web 2.0ish".
A random number of prominent Web 2.0 sites and services (read: bookmarks, and ones off the top of my head) were picked and thrown in a list – your score will be determined based on which ones you appear to have visited.
For those that are worried about their privacy they have this to say:
Your link "history" is not being logged or saved here, but if you’re concerned about privacy in general on the web, I’d be worried about a lot more than just Javascript.
![]()
So that’s reassuring… sort of. But it is supposed to be humorous anyway. So you are all probably wondering what my score was? Well it was crap, 14% in fact. But I can explain. I don’t visit a lot of the sites that are mentioned, I subscribe to the RSS feed, I would probably get a score of about 90% if it was based on that. The other thing is that I regularly clear my private data and history in Firefox so the stuff it is looking for is not there!
So check it out for a bit of fun, maybe you will do better than I did!
