I see this need all over the place. People wanting to be able to easily create custom images like avatars, logo’s, images. Custom ones for a purpose that they want it for. This is another great example of services starting to fill that need. It is called Official Seal Generator from says-it.com.

It is exactly what it says it is. You can create a very serviceable seal for yourself. If you were a fledgling business you could use it as part of a letter head or on a web site. Would not be that hard to get rid of the stamp on the right hand side in a photo editor either. I created the one you see here in about 1 minute.

There are lots of various icons, boarders colours and of course what ever text you wish. A bit of fun really but it is a killer idea. Someone needs to take this idea of icon or logo making if you like and implement it in a big way. Mikons is a great start to the idea as well, but does not have a logo base, rather an avatar, fun, meaningful type base. I really think this needs to be taken one step further.
