NASA is Looking for IT
Just wanted to let anyone know that if they see some footage of the Apollo 11 moon landings and it looks different than anything else you have seen. Or you see a heap of old movie canisters up for sale on eBay… Then NASA is probably looking for it and you should let them know about it.
It seems that the good folk at NASA have "lost" the original magnetic tape recording of the Apollo 11 mission, all 700 boxes of them! They have been looking for them for the past year without success. But a spokesman from NASA had this to say:
"I would simply like to clarify that the tapes are not lost as such. We are confident that they are stored at Goddard…we just don’t know where precisely."
I would say that means they are lost… dude. Amazing they can track a satellite in geo-stationary orbit but loose a bunch of boxes in their own facility.

Well sounds to me like someone has taken them home. Maybe they put them on YouTube! Has anyone thought to check on YouTube, or what was that top one online Blip.TV! -Just my $.02 -Sebastian
